Whether you’re an expert birder or just getting started, our Everglades Birding Tours are the perfect fit.  Everglades City & Chokoloskee Island are a birder’s paradise! We are located in the “4 Corners” section of the Everglades where Everglades National Park, 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Fakahatcheee Strand State Preserve and Big Cypress National Preserve all meet.

Please let us know if you’re searching for a specific target species or “Life Birds”.  Or perhaps you’re new to birding and interested in learning about the Everglades bird population. Either way, we got you covered.  Our guides can deliver both resident and migratory species, as well as the hard to spot “life birds.” We can take you deep in the wilderness and even around town about to locate our resident birds and your Target Species. Some of the species we encounter include the Pileated woodpecker, roseate spoonbill, mangrove cuckoo, harrier hawk, loggerhead shrike, and even the painted bunting.

The best time to spot the birds is early morning and just before sunset. We have found the best ways to spot these birds are on a walking tour, motorboat, or an elevated platform vehicle. Most birding tours are approximately 6 hours and will be customized for your specific request. All birding tours are private with fresh fruit, cold water, and all your necessities provided (even binoculars). Email or give us a call with the birds you are looking for and we can decide the best way to get them.

Everglades City makes a great basecamp for all of our tours.  It is considered The Capital City of the Everglades as it completely surrounded by the 4 top parks / preserves.  Everglades National Park, Big Cypress Preserve, Fakahatchee Strand and The 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge all come together at Everglades City.
